Chapter 4

They walk out of the restaurant and head to Mc Donald near there. While walking Liryc did not speak a single word and even Anne did not say anything. She probably know why Liryc is quiet. Liryc keep on thinking who the guy who called Anne, why is she like that everytime that guy call?, is she like that to every guy who call her? what is Layla thinking? too many thoughts that engulf his mind at the same time. Liryc think that its better that way that they came out of that restaurant, he feels like he's in a hot sit burning him slowly if he stayed long in that place.

They arrive at Mc Donalds and it is crowded with people but not because of the customer eating there, most of the people are middle age around 40 to 70 years old, probably a group or small organization is having an important meeting there. Liryc enter first he push the glass door and look for a vacant table. He expected that there will be less vacant table because the place is crowded but there are like 5 vacant table in the dining area. he walk towards the table near the glass wall cause he thinks that Anne like to sit near open view place where she can see the people outside. He put his umbrella in the table and walk to the counter without asking what anne wants to eat, he knows what Anne wants the 5 pieces nuggets with barbecue sauce and 1 extra barbecue sauce. Anne followed and sit at the bench of the table Liryc choose. While walking towards the counter Liryc thinks that its the time she will call that guy or the time her cellular phone rings and that guy is probably the one calling but he finished his order and the girl on the counter gave him a number for his pending order but still he did not saw her holding her cellphone talking to that person again. He carry his tray with 1 large and 1 small light Coca-cola, 1 regular and 1 Large pack of Fries, 1 box of 5 pieces nuggets and the 2 barbecue sauce for Anne and the silver L shaped pending number 6 for his quarter pounder burger.
"Can I ask for extra ketchup pls" He ask the lady in the counter
"yes sir, sure"the service crew girl replied
"I think 3 more will do" he's smiling asking another extra ketchup from the service crew girl cause 6 pack ketchup is not enough for Anne. Anne love ketchup for fries. He walk back to the table where Anne sits. He placed the tray at the table and sit in the bench on the other side of Anne.
"That is coke light" he said to anne pointing at the small size cup
"did you order extra barbecue sauce?" anne asked while tasting the coke light Liryc bought for her
"Yeah, here" while giving Anne the extra sauce. after giving the sauce he did not speak again, he reach for the regular size pack of fries and ate it while letting Anne pick the large pack of fries. 5 minutes had past but still the burger he order is still not arriving and he almost finish his pack of fries.
"here you can have some more" Anne offered him more fries
"no its ok, this will do"
"whats your pending order?"
"its quarter pounder" while he's looking at the counter if theres any progress in his order
"why dont you go there and tell them bout your order?"
"I think any moment soon it will be here" Liryc said, after a few minutes still he saw no progress in his order, he wave his hand to the service crew assigned to the dining area
"Can you please update my order" Liryc asked the service crew while pointing at his pending number 6 and the crew nod at him and proceed to the counter to update his order. After a few minutes his order arrive. Liryc remove the package of his burger and start to eat, hes too hungry coz its already pass 3 pm and since last night he ate nothing except 1 bar of chocolate.
after eating he watch Anne eat his nuggets
"Dont stare at me!" Anne said to Liryc
"Why? im just lookin at you, its not that bad right?"
"I dont like someone staring at me while im eating"
"alright" he said just to finish the argument but when Anne is not looking he looks at her admiring how cute she is while eating her nuggets. Just by staring at her he forgets every thing she hate about her, the person who called her, the pain he feels, everything that bothers him just fade away by simply staring at her, if she look at him he will look away and if she's busy eating he will stare again at her.
"Buy me a bottle of mineral water" Anne request to Liryc
"alright, wait ill go buy at the convenience store near in the front" He walks out of the fast food and he cross the road cause the convenience store is just infront of the Mc Donalds on the otherside of the road.

After buying a bottle of distilled water, he head back to the fast food. He is still wondering why she did not call the guy or why the guy did not call her, Liryc thinks that maybe before Anne said goodbye to the person on the line that guy said that he may call sometime later or maybe for some other reason, lot of things came to his mind and lot of possibilities or maybe she noticed that Liryc got irritated by what she did
"does she care? I dont think so there maybe other reason" he said to himself.

Chapter 3

"Are you inside the restaurant?" Liryc texted Anne "yeah im inside the restaurant" anne replied quickly, he walk towards the glass door and enter he look around but he saw no familiar face except Anne sitting in the corner with a siopao half eaten and a glass of water in her table, she is wearing a red jacket, her hair is dress like a bao bao chinese hairdress aka Chun-li hair style a character of the famous arcade game Street Fighter in late 90's, her cheek is pinkish cause of the make-up she's wearing and her lips is wearing her favorite lipstick that she always put on everytime they meet or leave to go to someplace. She looks pretty in her red jacket Liryc thought to himself, he stares at her while he walk slowly to her place and he sit in the available chair infront of her
"Im sorry, im late cause of the traffic" Liryc explained
"traffic? where?"
"traffic near the church here"
"oh i see"
"its cause of the heavy rain"
"but its not raining"
"yeah, right now its not raining but a while ago the rain is heavy it even flood the highway near our house" Liryc explained while looking at the room behind Anne full of people that looks like a seminar is being held.
"What are they doing there?" Liryc wondering what activity is in that room.
"Why ask me? ask them.." Anne said while eating small pieces of her siopao.
"Go there and ask what they are doin"
"im not asking you im just asking myself" Liryc replied smiling. He look around and try to see if Layla is in the counter but she is not there, he tried to look in the kitchen but in his position its impossible to see whose inside the kitchen.
"I think I know whose courting you!" Anne said wide eyed.
"Huh? and who?" Liryc surprised by what Anne said.
"The girl who asked for your cell number here last week"
"Ah yeah.." in almost whisper tone.
"Dont you like her?"
"Its not that easy, It does'nt mean if shes pretty, beautiful im goin to grab her to become my girlfriend"
"why not? I think she's ok"
"You know who I want.. and for me she's the only girl I can be with, I love you so much you know that" after Liryc said that Anne did not show any emotion its like she did not hear anything Liryc just said but he is used to that, she always do that everytime he open about her feelings towards her, Liryc think that Anne don't care of what he feels, he thinks that it does'nt concern her if he will get hurt, he thinks that what important to Anne is her happiness.
"im goin to order, I dont have a lunch yet"
"lets transfer to Mc Donalds" Anne said
"but your still not finish eating"
"I did not said right now, of course after im done with this"
"ok, im goin to have my lunch there" Liryc said while looking around. Anne second cellular phone rings and she answer it
"Hello" answering her cellphone, Liryc look at her and watch her while she's talking to the person in the line. She's making a sweet tone flirting laughs which make Liryc feel bad, he thinks that it's that guy again who always call her.
"Yeah, hmm ok.. I checked it a while ago" she said to the person in the cellphone. Liryc is starting to get irritated but still he wait patiently.
"Im calling you but your line is busy... How did you know that im calling if you dont have a signal?" anne continues
"Im here somewhere.. chowking, yeah... im goin to call you again, ill transfer to Mc donalds, if I did not call after a few minutes you call me ok?... ok bye bye.." Anne put her cellphone back to her jacket pocket and look at Liryc but he did not show any emotion he pretend that it's ok and that he feel nothing about it but deep inside his feeling he is hurt, puzzled and worried. The store kitchen door adjacent to the door of the store restroom open and a girl came out of the kitchen and its Layla.

Layla is wearing a Dark Blue satin pants, a pair of black shoes, Light yellow shirt uniform with light red stripes, Her eyes is big but beautiful in her features, she is morena and about 5'2 inches tall her hair is pony tailed. She look cute in her uniform but she's is too young Liryc thinks to himself. Layla went to the counter to talk to her co-worker. she did not notice him looking at her. Liryc prayed that Layla will not notice him but when she came out of the counter she notice Liryc and she give him a look with no emotion. Liryc smile at her but she did not smile back, he probably know the reason why she give him a face like that. Layla went back to the kitchen and at that moment Anne stands up and walk out of the store and Liryc followed her, he knows where she is heading, Anne is heading to a store near there.

Chapter 2

The sound of cellular phone beeping and vibrating under Liryc's pillow awakes him. He look at his clock its 11:04 am. he stands up and he feel his head aching "Damn I should have sleep earlier I still have work to do" he said to himself scratching his head. He look outside the window its dark and its raining hard. He walk back to his bed and reach under his white pillow to take his cellular phone and read the new message he receive. Liryc press the middle button of his cellular phone and open his inbox and saw new message receive from Anne
"hey are you already up? is it raining there?" Anne text
"Yeah it is raining here" Liryc replied then he lye again to take a nap "I better take more rest, my head is aching" he said to himself.
Around 1 o'clock Liryc wakes up he text anne "ei you better not go today... the rain is heavy". thinking that he want to sleep more.
"But im already on my way" Anne replied that made Liryc jump to his bed.
"Oh.. where are you right now?"
"Im near North Mall"
"oh ok, so just takecare, tell me when your already in fx" Liryc feeling relieve that shes not in San Miguel yet where they always meet.
"why?" she asked.
"Im goin to pick you up in San Miguel"
"why? whose going to look for the shop?"
"its ok, I did not open the shop the rain is heavy here" Liryc lied, the fact that he did not open the shop is that because he feel like he have a hallow block in his head coz of lack of sleep.
"What am I goin to do there? I will go there just to company you looking for the shop"
"but the rain is heavy so I decided not to open it"
"what am I goin to do there?"
"Dont you miss me? you'll come to see me" he said laughing.
"huh??"
"Oh I was just kiddin" he replied dissapointed. After a few minutes she did not reply in the text. Liryc continue to prepare, fix his hair, choose which shirt to wear and decide if he will wear shoes or not and he prefer to wear sandals, he's old rotting sandals. "Damn hair! if i let this dry by itself it will be dissaster" looking at his long layered hair. While letting his hair dry her cellular phone beeps. "Ei im already in fx" Anne text.
"oh ok im goin there"
"Will I still proceed? I have no business there" Anne asked.
"I thought your already in fx?"
"Yeah but its still not moving, still waiting for passenger".
"Dont you miss me? your goin to meet me" Liryc replied but get no response after. He dont know what to do so he waited for 15 minutes but still no reply. "are you still goin here?" finally he asked Anne.
"Yeah im on my way, the fx is moving now"
"Oh ok ill be there"
he put his cellular in his jeans pocket take his wallet from his drawer and rush to the door grab the dark blue umbrella in the table in their garage and walk outside the gate, he open his umbrella and walk soaking his feet from the rising water in the highway. He wave his hand to passing jeepney heading to San Miguel to stop, he ride in the back and he notice that he is the only passenger of the jeepney.

After 30 minutes of travel he finally arrive to San Miguel. The rain already stopped but still the sky is dark which make him think that any moment now it will rain again. "Para" He said to the jeepney driver, the jeepney stop and he descend. He reach for his jeans pocket to take his cellular and check the inbox to see if Anne have any new message.
"Im in Chowking restaurant" Anne new message to him
Liryc walks towards the restaurant but he hesitate to go inside. He look through the glass wall of the restaurant looking for someone checking if there's a girl familiar to him worried that it might see him, a worker of that establishment, a girl named Layla.

Chapter 1

They walk in and the guard ask him to open his bag "Sir Can I check your bag? " said the guard smiling at him. "Yeah sure" Liryc replied in a reserved tone slowly opening his bag to let the guard check his belongings, he saw the pink and striped black and red notebook. 2 hours ago he remembered while they are in his shop
"Do you have a ballpen?" Anne asked while opening her pink notebook in the table "Yeah, wait i'll go get it" He rush into the shop but something caught his attention and forgot about it. when he came back he saw her holding a ballpen and realized that he forgot to get one and give it to her " what's that? " he asked "its none of your business "
"its a diary" he said in a faint tone "can I read that?"
"No! of course not!"
"Hey you read mine before! so pls let me read that"
"I found it so I read it!"
"oh your so unfair! I saw your diary now so pls let me read that"
"No way!" she replied smiling and she continue writing down. He stopped convincing her and finally realize that its no use trying to win over the argument to show him her pink notebook that he refer to as her diary.
He enter the mall while closing his bag and the artificial cold air flow in his face. He stop and wait for her to enter he look at her while the guard is checking her bag. "Where are we going?" He asked "I dont know" while looking where to go. She saw pancake house "We should have eaten at pancake house rather than Mc donald's" she said but Liryc thought to himself that who would have guess that we will pass to this place. They stroll, enter one boutique after another then suddenly she grab her cellular phone in the pocket of her red jacket, her first cellular phone which he think is her globe line. He peek and have a glimpse of who text her and it was her mother "before we go home remind me that im goin to buy taco bell for my mom" Anne telling Liryc while replying to her mother "yeah sure" he nod smilling at her. After a few minutes her other cellphone rings, her second cellular phone which he always asked if its a globe or sun cellular. She answer and it is not her mother it is someone else.

It is cloudy day it looks like it will going to rain anymoment soon but the air is hot. Liryc is sitting outside his shop chatting with Anne, her second cellular phone rings "Hey is that globe or sun?" Liryc question Anne wondering why someone always call in her second cell for almost half an hour and sometimes one hour "It's Globe" she replied while talking to the person in the line, he refuse to believe that it is globe, who will call for half an hour and sometimes one hour using globe cellular line unless that person owns a company or a sibling of a filthy rich businessman, but he choose not to make an argument cause if he do they will have another grand showdown of words to throw to each other.

He's walking behind her watching while she's talking to that person in her second cellular phone, She is smiling making a sweet voice which make him remember what she is before she went to America and when they have a relationship, the time she love him and the time when she was his girlfriend. As time passby it annoy him walking with her while she's talking to someone else, it's a guy he thinks coz she sound unnatural, unnaturally sweet that he wish she do to him if he talk to her in the phone. She stop suddenly and look at her cellular phone. Liryc thinks that the line get cut and he thinks its because sometimes sun lines get cut every 15 minutes, its the catch for having a free call. She thinks that she made him believe that it was globe lines and not sun lines but Liryc knows better than that. After a few minutes her second cellular rings again "hello" she answered in her sweet voice again. "This is really annoying" Liryc said to himself. again for hours Liryc walk behind her watching her like a bodyguard while she was talking to this person in the other line. She enter the body shop boutique look around while talking in her cellular phone. "Why dont they have..." asking Liryc "Ask them not me..." he replied in level tone showing how annoyed he is "Im not asking you im asking myself" she said in irritate manner " Yeah and I just said ask them not me, just like what you did before, Im not asking you im asking myself" Liryc said remembering what she did 4 hours ago before they went to Mc Donalds. She walk out of the boutique leaving him behind but he followed her "stop following me" she said "and why? whats your problem?" pretending he dont know what just happened "just stop following me!" she replied, he tried to get near her but she avoid getting near him. after few times of trying to get near her he gets irritated cause he feels like she make him look stupid, Liryc walks down the escalator while Anne walk straight to the coffee shop.
Walking alone trying to think what he just did.
"Im walking away, Im leaving her.."
"What am I doing?" asking himself. after walking going nowhere inside the mall he finally realize "I need to find her, She might be here somewhere" he walk back to where they separate he checked the coffee shop but she's not there, he walk and hope that he finds her but she's not there. he checked boutique after boutique but no girl wearing red jacket shes nowhere to be found. He can't find her then he stop and lean on the wall, he put his bag infront of him and he felt there something inside his bag. Its the notebook.

Starting New!

Last night something big happened that can change my entire life that lead me to this site and start to trace whats happening around me. Writing blogs amuse me and makes me forget problems that exist in my life and some of it seems like impossible to solve coz the effect will be permanent. For some reason im a loner, I rarely speak about myself or tell other people even my friends about my problem but for my special someone thinks that im a big mouth that can't keep a secret and that im telling everything to them. By doing this seems like I am a big mouth publishing in public whats happening in my life. For now Im mumbling nonsense but later some of it will make sense why I say these things.. anyway welcome to my blog.
